Mirror Exclusive: Worst I've Seen!!


The Mirror has published this morning what can only be described as a load of rubbish. It has to be the worst exclusive I have ever read.

1) It says that Sacha wants rid of Harry Redknapp. The guy doesn’t do interviews for one and secondly they don’t have a single quote to back it up.

2) There is a quote from Milan which there which there article is based on it reads, “We are frustrated and disappointed. We have spent a lot of money, brought in nine players and Sacha has still not seen a victory. We have not emerged with enough points and that is very disappointing.' We’ll there not going to be happy are they but that doesn’t mean they want Harry out. I wasn’t happy that my girlfriend woke me up this morning to give me a pathetic valentine’s card. I aint going to dump her for it!

3) It says Sacha’s friends have said he is unhappy the way Harry has criticised the previous players he was left with. Wait a second, if I was Sacha I would be pleased about this and I’m sure he is. There were bad players Sacha comes in we now have good players. He would be more than happy for Harry to say this.

4) They are just trying to disrupt a team that previously had so many stories surrounding it. It was getting a bit boring on the South Coast because transfer window had gone, we are playing better and we have a new manager. Then some idiot, who obviously had nothing better to write about, wrote an article on pure lies.

He was so ashamed of the article on the internet he didn’t put a name or an email address. If there is a contact email address in the paper please let me know.

I have seen two websites now saying the pressure is on Harry. Let’s think about it shall we. They are not going to sack him and he only has a contract till the end of the year. There is pressure on everyone including the fans to get behind the team and the manager.

Les, I just wanted to give you a bit of constructive criticism here. I've noticed a lot of the articles from this site as they come up on the newsnow aggregator for Portsmouth. I'm afraid that you need to clean up your typing, spelling and grammar if you want these articles to be taken seriously. For example, they're means they are, there does not; You would use their to indicate ownership not there; Loose and lose are different words entirely, Birmingham (not Brimingham) weren't loosing at any stage of the match last night. Don't use ridiculous abbreviations like UR instead of you're or you are, 4 instead of for and so forth. You should also make sure you get the players names correct. Who on earth is Paramount? I think you mean Noe Paramot. Finally, please cut down the amount of exclamation marks you use in these articles. On some occasions you are putting them at the end of every sentence! They should be used to show strong emotion or emphasis to a point, using them too frequently makes them less meaningful. If you can take these points into consideration I think you'll be making steps towards a half decent site that's worth reading. Play up Pompey.

Ok thanks for the criticism. Although I have to say I work my back side off at work and still try and bring you the latest Portsmouth news. I don’t have very long to write them. For example I wrote the response to Pompey Online in ten minutes and that was a page of writing. In response to the exclamation marks, I may use these too regularly! With regards to players names I apologise for the miss spelling of this player’s name. I would also like to point out that I have not used abbreviated words or numbers in any of my articles. You may see them in the forum where I quickly respond to any comments that have been posted that day. You may also see them in the title as I only have 38 spaces to write a heading however I think I am correct in saying that you will not see them in the articles. As for the miss use of the word lose, I can entirely blame that on the fact I was trying to publish these articles as quick as I possible could so I could get back to watching the football. The use of the words their and there is actually to do with my Microsoft word. It is an old version and for some reason auto corrects such words but as it auto corrects straight away, it doesn’t put the word in context. I have to say I am slightly disappointed you didn’t email me your complaint, instead deciding to publish it publicly however I will not be deleting this comment. I am ever so sorry for any errors you may have read and I would like to say I will take more time with the articles however I get up at seven and go to bed at eleven. I work for the duration of that period but wanted to take this job on because of my love for Portsmouth Football Club. I will take your criticism on board but if you have any further complaints please feel free the email the boss of vital football.
