FA cup game now on the box

FA cup game now on the box

Originally when the draw for our FA cup 5th round meeting with Preston at Deepdale was made, the game was scheduled for Saturday 16th February but as it has been selected for TV coverage it will now take place on Sunday 17th.

This becomes the 3rd Pompey game in the past 24 hours to be changed to enable it to be shown live on sky sports, and will now kick off at 4pm on the Sunday.

In all honesty as this is not a game I could have got to - I had said to a friend I would not have minded, but the travelling would have been my major problem - so I am delighted to know that this will now be televised.

We should be able to beat Preston shortly, and only a short journey from Liverpool, so we can have a short day out.
