Shocking! That is the only way I can describe the news coming form Harry Redknapp today!

He has claimed that not all of the players that have come into the club were his choice. This story has shocked me and I am sure it will shock you Pompey fans alike.

Harry has revealed, 'I have had some fantastic backing from the club - and although I didn't choose all nine new players who came to us, I would put my name to seven.”

That probably means that these other two were brought in by either Sacha or Milan.

I think that those two players are Olisadebe and Paramount. This is what I am hoping! I hope that Paramount came as part of a package deal for Davis and Mendes. I am also hoping that the Olisadebe deal had already been agreed before Harry got there, rather than Milan or Sacha choosing the player.

I would love to hear your views on this in the forum. So either log on or register and get your view to me.

It is important to point out Harry did go on to say, “'When I returned it was just a case of getting into a position where it was worth spending in the January transfer window to improve the squad.” So arguable even if these two were not his choice he has still improved the squad.

I can just see it at the end of the year though! Harry saying not all the players were his. At least there was no fall out which suggests my theory is correct.

As Harry keeps playing Pamarot, I assume that he did want him. I reckon that Koroman is the second signing he didn't want!
