Enjoy the United game in style!

On Wednesday January 30th we travel to Old Trafford to face United in the league, if you are not fortunate enough to be making the trip then do not despair, you can always watch it on the box as we are on sky sports or better still why not get down to Fratton Park to watch it.

The Victory Lounge is showing the game and you can have a curry too - meat or vegetarian, and you get all of this for £8 which makes for a good night out. It gets better though if you book for 4 people a pitcher of lager is thrown in free of charge!

To book or to simply make an enquiry call the sales team on 023 9277 8555 or 023 9273 1204, you could just visit the Portsmouth FC head office reception in Rodney Road during office hours though.

Had I still lived in the Pompey area, or even been visiting family at the time then I would have taken up this offer, which is an offer that pompey4me hopes people do, as he has already put forward thread in the forum asking if anyone would be up for it - for more information click here.

He sees it as a good way to have some sort of Vital Pompey gathering, which is a fantastic idea so anyone interested have your say below and/or send me an email and I will put you in touch with pompey4me - or you could just answer him in his thread or just send him a private message direct through the forum?

As said I think this would make a fantastic night out, and would be an ideal meet up for some of us from this site - I am just envious that my location once again makes me have to miss out on something.

Nice short journey for me on Wednesday and the cup draw is a bonus for me, not too far to Preston from Liverpool thanks to Jimmy Case(scummer)

Spare a thought for me - waving a lonely Pompey scarf on my own in an Epsom pub.

carpet i will most certainly be doing the live feature this week, 6-7 hours round trip by car, pushing on for 10 by train rules me out of going to fratton so i will 'settle' for sky and armed with my laptop will be writing my report as we go as well as doing the 'live' feature - this is a regular away day feature for sure!

Solving that goalie quandary

I'm not sure our problem with finding a 'regular' no.1 last season was behind our failure to gain promotion from league two was it? Clearly it didn't help mind.

Pompey's attacking intent

Something Pompey (attacking intent) will look to show next season to get out of league two once and for all. Smith came in from Swindon last week but Cookie wants another striker.
