Meet 'the landlord' & his chauffeur

This weekend not only means FA cup weekend, but it also means that 'the landlord' pompeyrug and his chauffeur plymouth graham will be in town for the cup game with Plymouth, along with 'the landlords' brother and Geoff.

We have a good track record so far this season with our visits to Fratton Park as a quadruple so we will be looking to increase this run. What makes it all the more sweeter will be the fact that we will be watching our beloved Pompey against the team that is closest to where we all currently reside, as we all live in or around the Plymouth area at this point in time.

There is more to this though - not only are we looking forward to the game, we are also looking forward to visiting the Brewers before the game for a beer - or in my case, and the other non drivers a beer or two - so hopefully some of you in the area will join us? If The Milton Arms is your favoured pub then we are only next-door.

We are aiming to arrive around 12.30ish, so should be in the pub by 1 at the latest, so anyone who is interested in meeting up for a quick pint and a chat leave a message below and/or send me and email and I will get in touch - via email myself - so we can exchange mobile details - do not post these details below!

I already have details of several of you - so you know what to do if you are interest, but as I say any others that might be interested in meeting up let me know then I will give you my mobile number - clearly I do not want to publish this on the net for obvious reasons.

Whatever you are doing this weekend enjoy the game, if you are at Fratton all the better, if you fancy a quick meet up before the game better still - we will look forward to it...

I want to proudly display where I am from so i will have a little tag saying DEVON SUPPORTER-Plymouth Graham, for the green army to look at, but I refused to where the chauffeur's uniform rug sent me.

cheers boys- incidentally i have had a little trawl around various vital sites leaving tags -is that the right terminology- These include Bury, re FA cup game against Scum, and Bolton - re Taylor, and the fact i have lived in both those towns. Ive also visited Plymouth, Scummers and Bristol Rovers about recent FA cup draw....it makes it very plain in deed what a great site we have in comparison... well done rug and every one else

Would love to make it but 12,000 miles is a long way. Pity I didn't get to meet some of you on Boxing Day. I had a few pre match and after in the Connaught Arms in Guildford Road. Perhaps next time...anyway if anybody comes to Sydney you can see my POMPEY car and share a schooner or two.

well there is me, plymouth graham, my borther, richie - no longer geoff, he cant make it sadly - from our travelling lot... then there is you Chix, and eastneydave - who will also now be sitting with us - that are certs... i have mobile details for UKTony and jbaker - who i must contact today! - who are both up for it with various family members, pompey4me and his family want to meet up, but i think this will happen after the game... russellm - who i watched the yeovil pre season game with and have regular, almost daily contact with wanted to come along, but he cant make it... so we have a few, but there is room for more! as i told russ last night i do hope to organise an 'official' gathering sometime soon, maybe in the summer - so if i can hopefully as many of us as possible can make it?

My Dad who normally sits next and in front of the two guys who were on MOTD will be sat with us on this occasion too. Being a cup game he chose not to have his season tkt seat to be with us. I've been driving around Plymouth with a Devon supporters poster with plum and the club crest on it, a S/West supporters badge, and a scarf and shirt on the hatch back tray...not a toot..or any thing. i hope its different on the way up.
