Redknapp rules out Taylor move?
Harry Redknapp has once again 'bemoaned' the size of the squad that he has at his disposal, but this is not something I am going to go into as to put it bluntly this is nobody else's fault but his - he signs the African footballers knowing full well he would lose them...
The thing that had caught most people's eye would have been his telling sky sports that Matty Taylor will be going nowhere unless he makes some signings in midfield - an area that he claims is particularly light, and signing some midfielders is something which he also claims he is nowhere near doing: 'it is alright Matty saying he wants to go and play somewhere.
'But unless I get replacements, he is not going anywhere. He is one of my 14 and I need him'.
To be honest I cannot see how this is going to help an already 'fragile' relationship between the two, as accepting bids - and then leaving him out of the squad yesterday - is a clear indication that we are more than prepared to let him go, but then not letting him talk to these clubs will anger him even more, more so if he still does not play a part in the weeks ahead.
I worry about this situation fellas and even though we will be short of numbers we either have to decide now that he stays or he goes, it is not fair on him, his family or the clubs interested in him. He just wants to play football, if it cannot be here then he must be allowed to go.
It is make or break time, we either make it clear he is wanted - but having accepted bids it seems crystal to me what the situation is! - or we let him go, its only fair...
