Boukari keen on Pompey switch

Boukari keen on Pompey switch

According to the News of the World Lens striker Razak Boukari has claimed that he is a target for Pompey: 'Portsmouth are interested in me. They are a possibility for me.

'I want to leave Lens. I'm not happy at continually being a substitute - I need to play regularly to make progress.

'We expect to find a solution soon'.

He has been linked with us for a while - as well as other clubs - but is the French U21 international the answer for us?

My thinking would be no, as Harry Redknapp always seems very reluctant to buy, let alone play younger talent, that is unless he has seen them come through the clubs academy - as happened with West Ham...

What do we think fellas, any truth here or just Sunday paper talk?

Harry usually has a good record in the transfer window - how's he do it?

HR's good record in the transfer window, relates to some degree to the large number of transactions involved.

Not a great scoring record but he's young and French which is always a good thing.

when they are young and french they almost always seem to be dual nationality, then when they dont get into france team, join their second nation, which is generally in africa. we dont need africans!

"It is all right Matty saying he wants to go on and play somewhere, but unless I get replacements, he is not going anywhere," Redknapp concluded. "He is one of my 14 and I need him."

harry also said that he had no 19 or 20 year olds that could make the step up. "they are no way good enough to play in the premiership". does that rule out songo'o?

Looked up Boukari on Football Manager and you wouldn't buy him on the basis of his stats on that game.

sonko'o was deemed not good enough at crysal palace, and caim back (slightly) in disgrace (although his loan was extend). If he wasnt good enough forn championship nstrugglers, then i think he has a long way to go!
