Adda Djeziri for Pompey?
Reports on setanta sports are saying that Danish striker Adda Djeziri is closing in on a move to Pompey?
To be honest I do not know a lot about the fella but do know that he had a loan spell with Rangers back along - although he did not play a first team game, merely youth football but he was successful. He also spent some time with Leicester too apparently, but again played no first team football. I seem to recall Blackburn taking a look at him a while back too?
Setanta sports is saying that reports in Scandinavia are claiming that a move for the 6ft 3in Frem striker is 'imminent'...
I do not know what to make of these claims, if it does prove true then such a move would be exactly as billed 'a surprise move', but then again Harry Redknapp has made 'surprise moves' before and more often than not they come off.

He's only 19 and has only scored one 'senior' goal and although he is Danish he is of algerian origin so maybe, just maybe, he can play for algeria .. who correct me if I'm wrng can play in the African Cup of Nations... Other than as Rug says he's 6ft 3' I know very little about him ... I don't think he is the answer.. hardly a proven goalscorer more of a tall bloke a la Kanu/Crouch who we can lump the ball up to ... On well let's wait and see..

Do we belive anything Setanta Sports News tell us? They said we were planning our new training ground at Cosham a few weeks ago and nobody else knew anything about it. And Chix my line is lets wait and see!!

Sounds unlikely this one, but nothing will ever surprise me in the transfer window anymore (unless we tempt Zidane out of retirement....).

I would really hope that if we do sign any players they are a bit more established than this lad is.
Maybe Jerome Boere or Lee Mills are available or even Rory Allen might be back from Australia.
Lita is the best bet as he is desperate to leave Reading

signing players that are 'prove' - and that doesnt mean they have to be 'veterans' is what we need, this fella no matter how good he might be in x amount of years isnt the answer now... lita would be a fella i would happily take, but storrie has 'ruled him out' apparently...

What's the point on signing these young guys if Harry will never give them a chance? Mvuemba anyone? Also if you're not going to play Taylor, sell him and buy Lita. Stop bloody *****ing around.

if it was 1 goal in one game we couldn't afford him, i suspect it will be a fairly frustrating and depressing transfer window but it has only just opened and we will have to wait and see

Agree with matt, its all lies and corrupt and twisted rumours, i doubt harry will have him, and Im assured that this time round, he will be looking for a striker in the prem, and if not in a high league in europe, la liga, something like that.

Sounds a bit like that lump we had on loan for ages, the one who scored one goal - good goal, mind, and at the right time, but one goal, nevertheless. I'd hoped that links with crap players would stop now we are a bit better.
