Ok here's your mission if you choose accept it .. this season is Pompeys 5th in the premiership, last season was the 4th and so on.. what I was thinking of doing was a series of articles about players who have played for Pompey in the premiership but have subsequently left... and we could call the series..'they walked he plank.. or something like that (to depict the fact that they have left... Norwich use a similar thing on one of their sites refering to Canaries... they call it 'they've flown the nest' ..Now, considering you haven't been supporting Pompey for very long i reckon there will only be about 10 or so players that you don't actually know (if that) I can come up with a list of who has left and perhaps between us we could do the articles .. I reckon if we were to do five or so and then put the idea to Rug he'd definately go with it and could publish one every two weeks (in fairness he goes with most things, but I like to have a supply just to make sure that if i make a committment I can cover it or at least get it off the ground.. ) What do you reckon.. fancy researching the Pompey careers of Stefanovic, Berger, Sherringham, Lua Lua, Yakubu etc.. let me know if that floats your boat and perhaps we could talk a little more.... if not let me know what interests you (old games, other clubs connections to Pompey, old player, legends etc..and I'm sure I can come up with something that you could do (with my help if you wanted it) that could be a real addition to the site and also give you some of the knowledge you want.. you'd be surprised how quickly you learn things when you enjoy the subject matter.. We could do a profile to start with like a) Previous clubs, cost of transfers, how much we brought them for sold them for how many aprpearences they made .. etc.. If this forum could format a post I'd explain better .. Tell you what .. I'll pick a player do one and them send to you as an example .. I'll go for ....
