Yep, silly season have truly started
Having been laid low with a dreaded Christmas virus I have found it difficult to spend much time in front of the computer recently but for the first time in a number of days I was able to laugh at something that I came across...
I say I laughed, but really I find what The Times were reporting as absolutely incredible to be honest, and cannot believe they are running such a story.
They were reporting on Friday that Spurs could be looking to try and get Sol Campbell to make 'a sensational return' to the club.
With the constant abuse he has got from Spurs fans over the years, abuse that has reached a new level of abuse - I have read and heard a lot of this myself, and no doubt we will probably see some of this appear below? - it is something that could almost certainly never happen... could it?
Surely the Spurs fans would not accept it - as many have never been able to accept his leaving for Arsenal even after so many years - and I would find it hard to believe that Campbell would even consider this after his recent outspoken views on abuse that himself and others have to put up with.
We are now in 'silly season' but this will be hard to top over the next month or so...

Sol Campbell back to Spurs - It ain't ever gonna happen - In fact there's more chance of us seeing a FA Cup Final between Doncaster and Exeter being played on the moon come May - He is HATED by the Spurs fan (they call him Judas) they wouldn't accept him back... not only that the Gooners would then also start to hate a player they love .. Has this guy published his April Fool four months too early !!

I can see it happening, apparently Le Tissier is doing weights in Port Solent with a view to resurrecting his career at Fratton also

Yeah I know Et-tu I posted a link in a forum a week or so ago re what the Spurs fans were saying about him after his words about abuse in football - Judas was probably the only 'printable' thing I could write - They were virtually planning to kill him !!

Its a done deal, on the gerrard note, i hear he wants to leave because of a certain yossi benyaun, apparently yossi is a bit to revealing in the changing rooms.

Dont worry lads the Times is now saying that a certain Mick Quinn is back to ease our scoring crisis, with Alan Rogers to provide the crosses.
Campbell was also linked with Chelsea the other day, it must be attractive for Sol, a Chelsea reserve!!

i thought vital pompey were boycotting this story as it was so ridiculas! But i did here the other day that abnlahor was set for a move to birmingham, as they have real ambision in the league.
