Lowe: Grow Up!

Lowe: Grow Up!

Must be boring sometimes, nothing needing sorted at your own club!

Rupert Lowe has nothing better to do than have a go at Harry Redknapp. If there are any Southampton fans out there can you please tell me what is up with your Chairmen? There was no need for these comments….

'I think in retrospect, what was clear was that what Harry said to one's face wasn't necessarily what he was saying to the media and that is a very difficult situation to manage,' Lowe told Sky Sports News.

'I personally went to see Harry Redknapp and asked him whether or not he thought it was a good idea to appoint Sir Clive Woodward and he was overtly keen to work with him.

'It's a sad situation because I'm quite a straightforward individual and if he hadn't felt comfortable with Clive coming in he should have said so.

'It's different now as George Burley has come in - he's head coach and Clive Woodward is director of football.
'George has brought his own staff with him and everybody now is working together. We aren't reading negative press articles every five minutes.

'At the training ground things are getting a lot better and they will continue to get better.'

Thanks for that Rupert! I am sure that will have solved the problem of the Southampton fans hating you and I am sure Harry is gutted!

I would love to see Southampton come up next year so that we can play them again!

Join me at nine for “Pompey @ 9” where I have an extraordinary rumour!!!

Hi mate, Im from VitalSouthampton. I havent heard the interview but I understand your annoyance, if it was Milan I would be thinking the same - but Milan has used these tactics too and we were just as wound up. He's been on skysports too blabbing many times, in fact just days before Harrys return. I partly blame both their personal vendetta for both clubs downfall, well our downfall, and your possible downfall.

It works both ways - when Harry returned to his 'spiritual home' he had a sly go about being able to call each other by first names at pompey - how sweet. And you threw a game last season to ensure our relegation - is it any wonder Lowe's trying to add to your problems now.

To say we threw the game i don't agree! We might be having problems but don't you think "fizzypooptour" that he should be concentrating on his club? Seeing as he is the Chairmen of Southampton not Portsmouth!

They should do the world some good and get in a ring for a celebrity boxing match, Lowe in Saints shirt, Milan in Pompey shirt. They could make a fortune for charity. I'd pay good money to see them two finally scrap it out. They'd both be so bad at boxing too, it'd be the final humiliation of south coast football.
