Harry upset with performance (AUDIO)

Harry upset with performance (AUDIO)

Portsmouth had been enjoying a fantastic run away from home in the Premier League this season despite a less than perfect start at Fratton Park culminating in their first loss at home since March last week to Tottenham.

But it was six away wins on the bounce before the clash at Anfield and Pompey fans had been expectant for a performance. But those hopes were quickly dashed as two goals in three minutes put Pompey on the back foot. Despite Benjani scoring for the first time in 5 matches it was still an uphill struggle before a Fernando Torres brace ended any hope.

Boss Harry Redknapp says his side under-performed in the match and was extremely displeased.

it was quite frankly awful to be there, almost as bad as watching them play at fratton park in fact. I am stunned we are talking about selling taylor and mendes and even more surprised the lackluster Kanu came on but Nugent didn't the run out. Am i alone in thinking Utaka is a waste of a position at the moment, we should fly him out to Nigeria early. AND ANOTHER THING !!!! no harry we are not little portsmouth who are happy to get trounced, and my final rant until this afternoon is.... WHY O WHY O WHY is why is Harry complaining about the ACoN, did our recent signings trick us and change race and nationality on us or were they high quality African nations cup players when we bought them?

I'm not going to listen but I can only imagine he mentions at least one of - we're still a small club and we've come so far, he's still looking to keep us up this season and with the boys he's got he's done a great job and something to do with having to lose some players to the ACN.

Little Portsmouth brings small expectations - Big Portsmouth implies great expectations. As a manager, Little Portsmouth brings less pressure and people are more grateful and wins are more spectacular and achievement is a bonus to be gloried in. Obvious isn't it?
