Teams - Liverpool v Pompey

This is the Liverpool line up:

Jose Reina
Alvaro Arbeloa
Sami Hyypia
Jamie Carragher
John Arne Riise
Yossi Benayoun
Steven Gerrard
Javier Mascherano
Harry Kewell
Fernando Torres
Dirk Kuyt

Substitutes
Charles Itandje

Pompey make one enforced change from last weekends defeat, Noe Pamarot's injury keeps him out - Hermann Hreidarsson got the nod. Injury means Sean Davis misses out again so Pedro Mendes keeps his place in the side. Lauren and Kanu return to the bench, along with keeper Asmir Begovic so we line up like this:

David James
Glen Johnson
Sol Campbell
Sylvain Distin
Hermann Hreidarsson
John Utaka
Papa Bouba Diop
Pedro Mendes
Sulley Muntari
Niko Kranjcar
Benjani

Substitutes
Asmir Begovic
Lauren
Dave Nugent
Matty Taylor
Kanu

Still 1 up front, no complaints away from home though, bet Kanu comes on before Nugent

so utaka does keep his place - hopefully he can return to his best and his pace, which might be crucial can be utilised to its full against a liverpool defence that lacks pace...

How does Utaka keep on keeping his place? Surely time to drop him to give im a wake up call. Hopefully he will play well today though.

liverpool have got a quality side lining up tho havent they... im hoping that utaka justifies his place today by using his pace, if not if he keeps his place again for the arsenal game im not going to be amused - couple of months now of virtually nothing from him!
