What made you support Liverpool mate?
Genetics! I come from a long line of Liverpool supporters. All of my family support the club and although I now live in Dublin, most of my family live in or around the city.
Are you happy with how your season is going so far?
No. We have a strong enough squad to be closer to the top then we currently are and although we did well to win our last three group games and get through to the last 16 of the Champions League, we never should have been in that position in the first place.
Rafa Benitez seems to get backing one week from some fans, but not the next this season, why is this - how do you think he is doing?
I suppose it pretty much relates to the answer I gave to the previous question. We all knew that Rafa inherited a pretty poor squad from the previous manager and we accepted it was going to take time to rebuild. Winning the CL in his first season was a huge unexpected bonus and the fact that he did it with some pretty ordinary players left over from the previous regime, made us all think that once he could bring in a few more quality players, it wouldn't be long before we would be winning the league again. However, he's now in his fourth season at the club and although players have been brought in, we don't really look much closer to the top and some fans are starting to get frustrated. When we go on a run of wins, everything is great but then a defeat comes along, like at the weekend, and the frustration with the team, the tactics and the over-rotation of the side, comes to the surface.
How do you rate his signings so far?
Voronin joined us on a Bosman and he started off well but has been pretty average recently.
Babel is an exciting young player and a great prospect, as is Lucas.
Torres is awesome.
Will he need more in January - and will he get them?
We certainly need more cover in defence. Rafa tried to sign Heinze in the summer but the move was blocked by the Mancs. Our lack of pace at the back is a big concern and needs to be addressed in January. We are also crying out for at least one quality winger.
I think he'll get the backing to strengthen the defence but we may have to wait until the summer for the winger.
Who is the Liverpool danger man that Pompey should watch?
Hopefully all of them but Torres and Gerrard would be the obvious dangers and I think Babel will give you some problems, if he starts.
How do you reckon Liverpool will go this season?
I'd like to say we'd win the Premiership but realistically we're probably looking at 3rd or 4th and I'd fancy us to win one of the cups.
What about Pompey?
I think your season really depends on how you cope with losing a few of your players during the African Nations. I think Harry is doing a great job for you guys and I'd like to see you finish in the top six.
If you could take any Pompey player from our squad and put him in yours, who would it be and why?
Muntari.
Go on - who is going to win, Liverpool or Pompey?
Liverpool, of course. 2-0, Torres is coming to get you!
