Portsmouth's African hotshot Benjani Mwaruwari sits proudly at the top of The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League, after his 19-point haul in the classy 3-1 win at Aston Villa took him above Arsenal starlet Cesc Fabregas.
Injury has kept the Gunner out for the last couple of weeks and Benjani has taken full advantage, now six points clear of the Spaniard and just seven points short of the 300 mark this season.
It was also a good weekend for Ghana international Sulley Muntari, who scored two absolute peaches at Villa Park, earning himself a place in the Actim team of the week.
Muntari rose 66 places to 127th overall in the process with his 35 points on Saturday - his best individual match score of the season so far.
Analysis of all Premiership games is taking place throughout the season and the players in the Actim Index Team of the Week are:
Robert Green - West Ham United
Steven Taylor - Newcastle United
Habib Beye - Newcastle United
Pascal Chimbonda - Tottenham Hotspur
Gael Clichy - Arsenal
Sulley Muntari - Portsmouth
Stewart Downing - Middlesbrough
James Harper - Reading
Mikel Arteta - Everton
Ayegbeni Yakubu - Everton
Carlos Tevez - Manchester United
The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player's contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
