ARSENAL V POMPEY GUESS WHO SCORED

ARSENAL V POMPEY GUESS WHO SCORED

Pompey: Westerveld, Eyles, Priske, Karadas, Donachie; Songo'o, Wilson, Diao, Koroman; Pericard, Mornar.

Pompey created the first chance of the game when Pericard and Koroman played a one-two and the ball fell to Songo'o on the edge of the area and his shot was saved by Poom.

Connolly headed over and then Walcott was taken out a couple of times by Donachie.

Arsenal had the ball in the net on the quarter hour but guess what it was ruled out rrrrrrrrrrr! Poor Lupoli!

They had the next laugh though because in the 18th minute Arsenal took the lead when a cross from the left was met by Bendtner.

However it was levelled in the 24th minute when Donachie's cross was missed by a defender and Mornar saw his shot only parried allowing Pericard to force the ball home.

In the 37th minute Pericard found Songo'o on the edge of the box and his shot came back off the bar. This Songo’o is good!!!!!!

Pompey finally went ahead after 52 minutes when Donachie won a corner from that Wilson headed in Songo'o's corner kick.

Westerveld had hardly been in the game in the second half, but he was forced to save from Stokes' free kick, but Arsenal did draw level against the run of play in the 73rd minute when Walcott, who had been rubbish fired home! That’s Theo Walcott, I think he’s supposed to be half talented!?!?!

Pompey responded and Mornar stabbed home a cross.

In the 77th minute Pompey regained the lead when Songo'o's shot was deflected by Pericard and the ball fell for Wilson who smashed it into the goal and almost through the net!

Koroman played well through out however the two players to watch out for have got to be Marc Wilson and Frank Songo’o. He is a player from …… Barca! So he must be good!!

Theo may have scored, but happily for you (not for us) you beat the Arsenal 3-2
