Pompey will lose Badly at United?

Pompey will lose Badly at United?

When Pompey play United at Old Trafford they will lose badly! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from auntwallop's poll are thoughts that I disagree with.

It depends how you define 'lose badly', if that means score wise then I completely disagree as although we could get a hammering I do not think we will. If it means totally outclassed and out performed maybe we could - but again I do not think we will.

I am positive at the best of times and I think that we can beat anyone, anywhere on our day and will think that we can got to Old Trafford and win, not that I am saying that we will - although I might nearer the time!

My own thinking is that given our current away form I could see us going to United and coming away with a point...

What the poll asked - Given our away record, will we get our first win at Old Trafford in the Premier League this season?

How you voted - No. We will lose badly as usual 32%, Yes. We will win comfortably 25%, Yes. By a one goal margin 22%, No. We will draw 12%, No. We will lose by 1 - 0 9%

Current Poll - We are winning away for fun, scoring goals in the process but cannot seem to score at home for love nor money.

Sooner or later we are going to give someone a good roasting at the Fortress and when we do they will wish it had not been them, but who is going to cop it - this is what Et_tu_Pompeii wants to know with this - 'which team will be the first to cop a seasonal stuffing at Fratton Park from the frustrated Blues?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

I think a similar score to the Emirate score is in hand.

if we play as badly as we did against arsenal - and united play as well as arsenal did - then maybe we could get spanked... but i dont think so, i reckon we will get a point - at least...

We also play them at a time the ANC is on. We usually lose there if only just now. No disgrace in that. Outside the big 3, we take more than the average with our homes games against them.

Plenty of faith in Pompey's abilities ......... Plenty of realism aout United's ... we won't score and there'll hit two or three.... Hope I worng fella but it is United we are talking about and it is at Old Trafford.... It's not like they have big games either side of us either - Reading and Spurs away.... mind you the game is a longg way off yet.. so anything can happen between now and then
