The boys are back in town!

The boys are back in town!

The weekend not only sees Pompey return to Fortress Fratton but it also sees 'the landlord', his brother, plymouth graham and his mate Geoff return to town - and we know what happened last time the 4 musketeers were in town...

Those of you not familiar with our adventure - as we all live down in 'sunny Devon' we do not get to many games these days - we were at the Reading game, with this being our first game of the season and 'what a game', as we won 7-4.

I was at the league cup defeat to Blackburn, but this was as I was staying in town with some family, so it was me alone with Paul - my cousin - and Steve - my other cousin's boyfriend - but this game is best left forgotten.

So the 4 musketeers return this weekend. Whilst I cannot promise that we will be as 'lucky' for Pompey this time and the other 20,000 plus fans, I do feel that we can pick up 3 points against the Toffees.

We are joined by someone else this time too, in what will be her first Pompey game at the Fortress the fiancée of my brother is also coming along. She was meant to be at the Reading game but after being taken ill overnight on the Friday she had to miss out, as you can imagine she was gutted...

Welcome back gents. Always a toughie Everton, until last seasons win at FP we usually got stuffed by them. They are going well & last week went mad stuffing Sunderland 7-1. They have lost at Reading & Newcastle so they are more than beatable on the road. They will finish in the top 6-8 so a major threat to our euro push. This will be a tough match. Midfield Arteta & Cahill will be difficult & our old mate Yakubu returns. All hands to the pump to get something out of this.

if we score and win again i will be expecting sections of the crowd - at least those familiar with vital pompey - to be singing 'can you watch us every week' to us :-)

not sure we will get there in time tbh - but i will see... we didnt arrived until gone 2 last time and as we are in the north upper this time we will have to get into the queue earlier as it takes ages to get in doesnt it! if not this time we will have a 'vital pompey gathering' at some point. i reckon maybe next year, christmas at the latest if enough of us can meet up we could maybe try and arrange something
