Kranjcar the main man for November

Niko Kranjcar was Pompey's player of the month for November! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I completely share.

The praise that Kranjcar is getting this season is incredible, but what is more the fella completely deserves every ounce of this credit.

He was voted our player of the month last month, and he has done it again for November and I do not think that too many would question this, as he was fantastic.

I do not have anything else to add on Kranjcar, as I think I have said more than enough about the fella recently, plus I do not doubt that people will be waxing-lyrical about him with their comments below…

What the poll asked - Pompey's player of the month for November?

How you voted - Niko Kranjcar 67%, David James 7%, Sylvain Distin 7%, Glen Johnson 7%, Benjani 7%, Sol Campbell 7%, Noe Pamarot 1%, Papa Bouba Diop 1%, Other %

Current Poll - A lot has been made about Harry Redknapp and the England job, he does not think he can get it, some think he should, while others - us - worry he will!

I think it is safe to say that none of us want Redknapp to get the England job, but most of us believe that he could do it. Lets forget what we want, do we think he could seriously get the job - this is what pompeyrug wants to know with this - 'forget what you want, a simple yes or no - do you THINK Redknapp will get the England job?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

Nico has had a month to remember and has certainly changed my opinion of him. I think he has turned out to be a really good buy for us, another pulled put of the hat by the scouting team, lets hope they have a few more up their sleeves.

he just started

I'm so happy for Niko. I could see his potential in his early games, I'm glad he's been given the opportunity to thrive and grow into the side. Niko could be world class.

One of the easier decision to make especially after last Saturday's wonder goal - which of course did not get the accoldaes it deserved on MOTD and the like. And I agree with Andy he has only just started.
eastneydave
yep, he is a superstar in the making... as i have often said evne tho he was at the end of his career robert prosinecki is still the greatest footballer that i have personally witnessed from the stands, but krunchie has it all and could quite possibly be even better than him in time... krunchie has worked very hard and is now the complete premier league footballer - he can do it all, he has the skills, the technique, eye for goal, stength, stamina, he can defend and his work rate is fantastic!
pompeyrug
Well done Harry for giving him the time to bed in and get used to the English game.

When you consider that he has only just started, which I agree he has, how much of an amazing player is he going to be? And Owen said none of the Croatian team would get into the England team!
tracyc
If Niko was English - not only would he be in the England team, but they'd be calling him the new Beckham. When in fact he's really the first Niko Kranjcar.
tracyc
To think the monkeys that sit near me call him lazy and useless. Thats the same ones that slate Davis as useless and lazy, oh yes the same ones who said Benji was a waste of time, space and money. If we keep proving them 110% useless in there judgemnets, maybe they will stop coming, and rid us of the weekly abuse (Including racist abouse) aimed at players that are actually not bad after all... :-)

I'm croat but my opinion for Owen words about Croatia national team isn't so hard like yours or from bilic. with thats words he probably wants push up moral in own team.... that's not so dramatic and we know who are the journalists...never mind.. you have exstra class of players..but Croatia right now have a team if you understand me.. you have new chance for WORLD C. and for us that would be easy. ..and Niko, niko is a amazing and I belive in him from the moment when I saw him first time on the pitch, 5-6 years ago....
andycroat28
Midge, these kinds of people wind me up no end - im not the type to say anything, but sometimes i get so wond up and close to turning round and saying something to these mindless idiots... i probably think that what owen 'said' was manipulated by the media, but there are a few that would get in the england team let alone squad i reckon - krunchie being one of them no doubt about it.
pompeyrug
in the england game, whenever the ball came to him, things happened. he was higlighted as the man to watch before the game, and showed why. the other croat that was higlighted - luka modric - did little to impress me, as he never seemed to get into the game. the three premiership players in the croatian team really did show that they had a different class, but the whole of there team showed england how to play football. what a month for niko!!!
pompeycarpet
To keep Taylor out says it all
paultsmouth
for pompeycarpet-- luka modric have some tasks to do, he need to stops gerard and he succeed. Don't forget that Wenger and Grant wants him in theirs squads... he is a rising star, he is 22 and already now he is irreplaceable in national squad. niko, luka and eduardo, they have place in England squad and o

and of course goalkeeper Pletikosa :-))
