FFC - England Fans Survey

Dear Football fan

This was supposed to be the 'Golden Generation' of English players, instead it is the first time England have failed to qualify for a major tournament since 1994...

The England Fans Survey gives you a chance to have your say on some of the key issues facing England.

*Who do you blame most for England not qualifying?
*Are we producing enough good English players?
*Was it right to sack McClaren and Venables?
*How far will England get in the World Cup 2010 campaign?

Click here to Have Your Say.

disagree. not qualifying was the best resuly we could get if we want to do well in the 2010 worldcup. we have time to pick a manager, choose the best players, qualify, then win the world cup. who do i blame most? the manager. sure the players have something to say about it, but mclaren picked the players time after time, with them always failing to perform, and brian barwick&co only had 1 choice to make, they made the wrong one, but they could not go back on it could they?

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.

Interest in Plymouth midfielder? Unfortunately not

Apparently, having stolen the League Two title from Plymouth, we'll not be taking the Pilgrims' best player, ex-Celtic midfielder Carey, currently out-of-contract at Home Park.
