Pompey will remain unbeaten to the teams promoted to the premier league for this season! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from Lysimachus' poll are thoughts that I do share.
We often slip up against the teams that come up, remember Watford last season what a carry on that was after the victory over United a few days earlier...
In order to ensure that we reach our true potential, with all due respect to these teams - Birmingham, Derby and Sunderland - they are teams that we cannot afford to be losing to this season. And we believe that we can go through unbeaten against them.
We came away from Derby with a point, we go to Birmingham after the international break - and we owe them one after our 5-0 thumping the year they went down! - and we go to Sunderland in January. Clearly none will be easy - and Derby was not as we found out - but remaining unbeaten away to them is crucial and we really should beat all 3 at Fortress Fratton... should we not?
What the poll asked - Will we be unbeaten to the promoted sides (Birmingham, Derby & Sunderland) for once this season?
How you voted - Yes 58%, Yes (to the point this poll seems pretty useless) 30%, No 12%
Current Poll - It is a make or break week coming up for England, around this time next week we will almost know - if we do not already - if England will go to Euro 2008 or not.
No matter how much you dislike Spineless Steve surely every England fan will be biting their fingers nails and praying Israel can do us a favour against Russia and keep our Euro 2008 dream alive? Providing Russia do not win qualification is still in our hands against Niko Kranjcar's Croatia when they come to Wembley - but can we still make it, this is want pompeyrug wants to know with this - 'will England qualify for Euro 2008' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
