Berlin didn't take our breath away
Remember Berlin Nlome-Ndebi - better known as Berlin? Well the fella who signed for Pompey a couple of years back after a successful pre season trial appears to have left for good?
Over the summer the word was that he had left anyway, then all of a sudden he appeared in the reserves again recently, something which some of us saw as being a good thing for the future - as we spoke about in the forum.
But the BBC are now reporting that 'Crawley manager Steve Evans is pleased to have signed the former Portsmouth striker on a short term contract', the key words being 'former Portsmouth striker' - which would imply that he has gone and will not be coming back.
So it would appear that Berlin will never take our breath away...

I can't believe nobody has commented on Rug's pun .... I'm saddened by this news I thought he'd cruise to being a Top Gun for Pompey... Maybe 'arry just lost that loving feeling with the Maverick striker...... whoa I'm scaring myself now .. too many references

he played for the reserves - but that was all. i doubt he will really be missed. My only (half) memory of him was reading he had scored a hatrick in a reserve game, and wondering why i had never heard of him before...
