Pompey competition update #12

Vital Fantasy Football - 'Pompey mini league'

After the latest round of league matches of the 2007/08 season there is no change in the top 3 one again - so the current leader in the Vital Fantasy Football 'Pompey mini league' remains The Pompey Chimes on 431 points, who retains top spot for a 4th week running, also stretching his lead at the top. Crazy Cats has 386 points, so retains 2nd spot for a 4th week, with the final non-mover again being Always Victory with 378 points in 3rd, also for a 4th week running.

The Pompey Chimes, Crazy Cats and Always Victory are in the top 60 of almost 4500 entries overall - in 3rd, 42nd and 58th places respectively - congratulations fellas, particularly The Pompey Chimes in 3rd place just 5 points off overall top spot, cracking stuff mate!

I managed to move up from 32nd - 31st spot in the Pompey mini league this week - woo hoo! - and climbed from 2976th - 2845th place overall, doing this without making the transfers I threatened...

'Pompey predictions league'

It was not a bad week in the Pompey Predictions League for the Newcastle game, as a few correctly predicted the win, with others at least getting a goalscorer(s) right.

pompeyrug - me - was the highest points scorer this week with 6 points, correctly predicting a win, along with goals for both Benjani and Niko Kranjcar.

Chix just manages to retain top spot for a 7th week running, his 4 points took him onto 32 points overall. Pompeyrug is breathing down his neck, keeping 2nd spot for a 6th week running, moving onto 32 points also. Linvoyforengland managed to climb from 5th - 3rd with his 2 points, making it 24 points altogether.

If you missed out on predicting for the Newcastle match, as well as any others it is never too late - just start with your predictions for the next with Man City at home this Sunday. So if you have not already made your predictions on this game with Man City do it here.
