Pompey competition update #11

Vital Fantasy Football - 'Pompey mini league'

After the latest round of league matches of the 2007/08 season there is no change in the top three - the current leader in the Vital Fantasy Football 'Pompey mini league' remains The Pompey Chimes on 383 points, who retains top spot for a 3rd week running. Crazy Cats has 355 points, so retains 2nd spot for a 3rd week running and the final non-mover is Always Victory with 344 points in 3rd for a 3rd week running.

The Pompey Chimes, Crazy Cats and Always Victory are in the top 50 of over 4000 entries overall - in 5th, 30th and 48th places respectively - congratulations fellas, particularly The Pompey Chimes in 5th place!

I retained my 32nd spot in the Pompey mini league for a 2nd week running but dropped from 2860th - 2976th place overall, I really need to make some changes!

'Pompey predictions league'

It was an awful week for everybody this week in the Pompey Predictions League for the West Ham game - as nobody picked up any points at all!

Chix stays on 28 points overall, retaining top spot for a 6th week running. Pompeyrug - me - kept 2nd spot for a 5th week staying on 26 points. Paultsmouth keeps 3rd, staying on 24 points for a 2nd week running.

The West Ham game also meant October's monthly winner was revealed, but this turned out to be monthly winners! Both paultsmouth - for a 2nd month running - and linvoyforengland picked up 10 points each throughout the month, so both go into the end of season draw for a further chance of winning a prize.

If you missed out on predicting for the West Ham match, as well as any others it is never too late - just start with your predictions for the next with Newcastle away this Saturday. So if you have not already made your predictions on this game with Newcastle do it here.
