Training site decision in December?

The Pompey Site is reporting that we hope to know the outcome of the proposed new training centre in Titchfield in December - this is when the Fareham Borough Council planning committee will meet to either give the plans a green light, or shoot it down!

Plans for this training centre look fantastic, so if approved - as we must all be praying they are, as this will help us move forward even more - the club can start on its construction early in the New Year.

Pompey have the backing of the FA, the Premier League, local community groups and residence, with these letters of support from all parties all put forward in the submission.

If you have not seen the proposed sketches - although I doubt this very much - then I really would check out the Pompey Site to see them and read a more details account of things on the site - click here, then obviously just open the relevant article.

All we can do now is wait and hope we get the outcome that we want and indeed need - should this not be approved then it will only hinder the future growth of Portsmouth Football Club, which - in my thinking - will also have a knock on affect to the area itself.

storagematt
as pompey fans it is our duty to each adopt one of these doormice :-)

the plans look fantastic tho dont they - lets just hope they are approved! as i say the benefits not only to pompey, but also the community would be brilliant wouldnt they.

As i frequently whine on about we need to improve off the field and with the support of both the FA and now it seems the premier league the club are taking positive steps forward and the club management are getting invited to the right talking shops etc, its all good. Big boost for the club if it goes through
russellm
Purely and simply it must go through - This is an important development to the infrastructure of Pompey Football Club for years to come - It'll be a disaster if it gets rejected - Are there any Scummers on Fareham Borough Council planning committee do we know ?......... Knowing our luck it'll consist of Lady Geraldine McMenemy, Countess Frances Lowe and the evil Dame Judith le Tissier !

If we attach a mosque to it we will get planning permission.
storagematt
We'll hold a club organised doormice hunting season to boost the planning permission chances/
