What made you support Wigan mate?
I support the Latics because I was born in Wigan, simple as I've supported from the non-league days so I've seen it all. By the way Wigan to us old timers refers to the Egg Chasing lot. We are the Latics and we hate Wigan more than you hate your south coast friends.
Are you happy with how your season is going so far?
Superb start to the season then we were hit with suspensions and injuries to key players Heskey, Landzaat, Valencia, Kilbane and Sibierski have all been missing and a squad of our size cant take that. Hopefully we can pick up again once they are all back. So in answer am happy at the start, mm, yes...and no.
Many wrote off Hutchings - how do you think he is doing?
Hutch is doing well with what he's got. We are playing football again something we didn't do last season and like I said we've been hit by missing key players recently. We really needed a change from Jewell for both club and manager, but he'll always be a legend.
How do you rate his signings so far?
Signings superb, when we signed Bramble I thought here we go, but he is absolutely awesome and quickly become a fans favourite. Melchiot is class at the back and organises the defence superbly. Koumas has brought a touch of flair to the team and he aint afraid to have a pop at goal. Sibierski started off like a house on fire but he's been carrying a hamstring injury and missed the last couple of games, but again surprised how well he settled in. Not too impressed with Bent.
Will he need more in January - and will he get them?
Hutch will defo need more in January but our chairman likes us to operate with a first eleven and small back up, so it will be one out for each one in I'm afraid. We need more quality in the squad to cover for injuries that's why we have suffered recently.
Who is the Wigan danger man that Pompey should watch?
Jason Koumas is the man to watch, he's been superb this season and he creates lots of chances for the forwards, which don't always get taken.
How do you reckon Wigan will go this season?
I was quietly confident a month ago of a mid table finish, now I feel we may have a relegation battle on our hands again if we're not careful.
What about Pompey?
Can see Pompey finishing either just in or just outside the European places you've made a good start to build on.
If you could take any Pompey player from our squad and put him in yours, who would it be and why?
Matt Taylor, we were linked with him a couple of seasons ago and every time I see him on TV he scores a wonder goal.
Go on - who is going to win, Wigan or Pompey?
Latics will win this one because, we always do each other a favour, remember your relegation fight and last season you let us win when we needed the points late in the season. Well we need them points again to stop the rot, so I'm going for a 2-1 home win.
