Competition winner revealed!

To celebrate Benjani's hat-trick in the magnificent 7 victory over Reading recently Vital Pompey was giving you the chance to win a piece of authentic football memorabilia signed by the great man - to see the item in question click here.

All you had to do to stand a chance of winning this prize was to be a Vital Pompey member by Sunday 14th October and to have left a comment below the competition article and/or in the forum thread by that time.

All Vital Pompey members that commented then had their names put into a hat and the first randomly drawn out name was the winner.

I can now reveal this winner as being pompeygray - congratulations to him, his item will be winging its way to Australia shortly.

The item came courtesy of www.rugssoccersignatures.com - which is my 'day job'. I have been in the football memorabilia field for many years so all items are of the highest quality and are 100% authentic.

Well done Pompeygray - I'm gutted... I had even decided I was gonna take done my Framed 1975 Subbuteo Catalogue which hangs proudly in my downstairs loo (much to the wife annoyance) to accomodate our Benji - enjoy
