Pompey to win again - and away too!
Pompey will beat Fulham at the Cottage today! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I completely share.
Pompey have a habit of letting you down just when you think they are on top of the world - beating United last season then losing to Watford a few days later just one example - but I really think we have turned corner and will beat Fulham today, I have to money on it to prove it.
A win would make it back to back away wins in the league, which is something that has rarely fitted into the same sentence as the word Pompey for several years, but my thinking is the win over Blackburn in our last away league game could be the win that changes our away fortunes. We just needed something to spark us into life away from the Fortress and I reckon that was it.
Including the league cup win over Burnley if we could win today it would in fact complete a hat-trick of successive away wins for Pompey!

Current Poll - The squad was looking strong early in the summer after a few new arrivals, it now appears even stronger but is probably still lacking in some areas.
Where could Pompey improve - if at all - on the current squad this is want muffdaddy1983 wants to know with this - 'Where do you think Pompey need to improve?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

Both sides have had...intresting...games over the past few weeks. Fulham have defended very poorley - conceeding 3 in there last couple of home games - then got a clean sheet at chelsea. We defended very well, with 3 clean sheets - then conceeded 4 against reading. both sides will be looking to win, so it will be an open game, but noth sides will also be looking for another clean sheet, so it could be tight at the back. it is going to be another thoroigly unpredictable game - but if both sides decide to play for the win, it could be abother 11 goal thriller.

Tough game, depends on which Pompey you get & what Fulham do.
They will give us chances & me must take them as we did against Reading. London not our place for picking up points but I expect at least a draw.

i predicted 1-2 but i got goal scoring Benji right, i was thinking we have lots of work to do and i still fear for us come January with the palyers we will lose to the ACN but to see our team play well below their best yet still come away with the 3 points, well how positive is that

Matt I too am worried about Utaka. As I have said on this site before he tends to have hot streaks - he did at Rennes - and the problem is we have plenty of midfield strength in depth but not on the right hand side.

utaka looked like scorring/setting someone up every time he had the ball in the second half. we broke quickly - and it could have been more...if davis had scorred his tap in...

utaka didnt get into the game for a while, but when he did he looked a real threat... in fairness to davis i think the chance was alot harder than it seems, a great break but i think the ball was just a touch behind davis?

Utaka is a player who needs to be involved otherwise he'll drift in and out of the game - Jamo showed, by finding him with the quick throw, that when he is alert he can really hurt defences (Bolton) there's a lot to come from Mr oo-taka but he needs to be more than a luxery player
