Pompey give the fans a present

Nope, I am not talking about 'that match' again - although that was some present - I am talking about the free coach travel being offered by the club for the Wigan match at the JJB later in the month as a thank you for our support.

The JJB was the scene of one of our most famous triumphs in recent years was it not and when we return there on the 20th October the club are offering free coach travel, when it would usually have cost adults 35 and seniors/juniors 32 - so this is a nice thank you.

With the upturn in fortunes with our form and no doubt as a result of that extraordinary game at the weekend, not to mention the fact that Pompey are looking for the almost unheard of back to back away league victories the tickets for Fulham on Sunday are selling well - with only 800 left which might sound a lot but this amount can soon be snapped up.

After the Reading game I would love to go to Fulham, but sadly that old 'problem with money' pain that so many of us have means that I have to refrain and be strong - the plus point is at least it is on the box, which is not the same but it is better than nothing.

And 11% off at the online store because of the 11 goals on Saturday. And free shrit printing if you have BENJANI on the back. Whatever next??
eastneydave
is that right dave - how longs this 11% last for? i cannot really afford it but im tempted to take advantage as i wouldnt mind the new shirt, nor would i mind having benjani printed on the back...
pompeyrug
Looking forward to the game at Fulham, they did well at the Bridge didnt they, maybe Merlin can tell us what they are really like. Were Fulham good or were Chelsea just poor? I like going to Fulham and i always feel that we can get something there. Is anyone else going?
Owenspompey
Isn't it live on sky, 4pm ko? That may put a few off who may normally go on Sat 3pm.
storagematt
My dad told me about this, so I suggested that we drive down to Portsmouth and then get the coach trip to Wigan for FREE.

I hope the fulham game yields at least 50 goals...iamgine the savings!!!! its great to see the club encouraging its loyal supporters to travel to the away games, as the journies are often VERY long.

It's a terrific gesture. Will be waiting to be picked up in front of the CN Tower, downtown Toronto....are sandwiches being served on the bus ?!!
Toronto4Pompey
What about the present at Deepdale. PNE 5 Scum 1. Love it.
storagematt
scum lost 5-1! ding dong... it is a good gesture, the fans deserve it and maybe we arent always treated as well as we could be but we cannot complain at this - at the end of the day the club didnt have to do this tho did they, so credit where due... yep its on sky sports 4.10 kick off time.
pompeyrug
Rug - I've sent you the link to the 11% off offer lasts until Monday, I tried to paste it on here but it wouldn't let me for some reason... Never mind - it on the offical site under the on-line shp section.
Chix
i think it dispicable that we as Pompey fans would revel in the absolute trouncing that the team for down the coast took tonight. Would their FAN do the same to us? Who cares well done you Lillywhites, you gave the red and white s**** a hammering.
Owenspompey

Can't believe you too actually live in Devon (well actually i can in the case of Graham ... From the name) I spent four cold winters on the top of Dartmoor between 2000 & 2004 - A little known place (except for 'Arry', he always (and still does) manage an annual visit) called Moretonhampstead.
Chix
yep ive lived here for most of my life... i left leigh park - what a great place to live eh! - in '88...
pompeyrug
....but I bet Leigh Park has never left you ;)
Chix
ive been back there a few times over the years and the last visit - quite a few yrs back was quite frightening really, to see so many homes with basially barbewire on the top of their fences was alittle disturbing...
