Benjani's 2nd goal, as well as Pompey 2nd was my favourite of the lot against Reading! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from Lysimachus' poll are thoughts that I do not entirely share to be honest.
In terms of the actual quality of the goal Benjani's 2nd was probably the best of the match - although looking at all the goals Dave Kitson's probably challenged it most of all - but it depends on how you are viewing it in terms of favourite goal?
Quality wise as said it probably was the best, however if it is a sentimental favourite, which is how I was viewing it then goal no.6 - the hat-trick goal - was my favourite and that is the way I voted. Seeing him score a hat-trick is one of the most memorable moments ever for me as I cannot think of too many more deserving player than Benjani - and as previously stated it must be the most popular hat-tricks ever seen at Fratton Park?
What a game though! I still do not tire of seeing any of the goals and still get a buzz when I do, now where is that DVD with the goals on it…
What the poll asked - Favourite goal against Reading?
How you voted - Benjani (Goal No. 2) 50%, Benjani (Goal No. 6) 15%, Kranjcar (Goal No. 7) 12%, Benjani (Goal No. 1) 6%, Hreidarsson (Goal No. 5) 5%, Muntari (Goal No. 10) 5%, Christ even the Reading goals looked sharp 4%, Davis (Goal No. 9) 3%
Current Poll - When September started with the terrible display against Arsenal - not taking anything away from them though as they were fantastic - who would have thought it would have ended the way it did.
It was quite a month was it not and overall we have seen some very memorable performances, both as a team and individually but who stands out the most - this is want pompeyrug wants to know with this - 'Pompey's player of the month for September?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
