'Pompey predictions league'
It a good a very week most of us in the Pompey Predictions League for the Reading game - most were right with their win predictions and with the amount of goals on offer, the majority were also helped with some extra points that way.
alexb32 - a new arrival to the game - was the highest points scorer this week, the win prediction with goals from Benjani - 3 of them, although only 2 were predicted - and Sulley Muntari saw them pick up 8 points to come straight into the game in 18th position, out of 31 entrants so far - join in anytime though fellas!
Chix was one of 8 people to pick up 4 points this week so moves onto 20 points overall, which also allowed him to retain top spot for a 3rd week running. 4 points also from pompeyrug - me - meant 2nd spot was retained for a 2nd week running and a total of 20 points overall, while Bargs' 4 points sees a climb from back up from 4th - 3rd overall, with 18 points in total.
With the Reading game being the final game of the month a monthly winner was crowned.
By collecting 13 points in total in September steaming claims the second monthly win, so goes into an end of the season draw - joining Chix - for a further chance to win a prize - remember that each monthly winner takes part in the draw with the first randomly drawn also winning a prize. The overall winner, along with 2nd and 3rd places also win prizes too, so this is even more reason to get involved.
If you missed out on predicting for the Reading match, as well as any others it is never too late - the 8 points that saw alexb32 enter the game into 18th place in one match proves this - just start with your predictions for the next with Fulham at Craven Cottage this Sunday. So if you have not already made your predictions on this match with Fulham do it here.
