Blackburn once more

Bolton got Man city in the draw, but Fratton Park will play host to Mark Hughes' men, no doubt after revenge after being handed an early chance to avenge last weeks Premiership defeat.

A match against lower league opposition may have been favourite, but at least we got a home draw!

Another Lancastrian game. When will they learn...?

Paultsmouth i don't think that is a bad draw, after seeing a video of the game we were not brilliant at Ewood but i thought we had times when we bossed the game. I would imagine at fratton if the lads keep their wits about them we should win with a bit to spare
russellm
well, we should win it, we have the playors, and the crowd - but could blackburn be after revenge? either way, its home, and we can sure win it!
pompeycarpet
we should win this as it is at the fortress - i will be disappointed if we dont... it could have been better, but could have been worse.

When the draw was made there seemed a pause when he said Portsmouth vs Black... I screamed pool & then he said burn. Bugger but at least it will be at home. Would still have preferred Blackpool.

We can beat them, at least we are at home, which means that they wont fancy it much, we can go all the way if we really want to. Would have liked the chance to get revenge on the Gunners buut we can now do that at Wembley.
Owenspompey
yep, i think i would settle for wembley to gain revenge tbh - but i still think we can and will win this cup...
pompeyrug
At last we believe that we can win trophies, what a change from a few seasons ago, i just hope the club reduce prices to encourage fans to turn out midweek, it would be great to see a full house
Owenspompey
Owens.. I agree but I bet they don't because it's premier league opposition.. It'll be interesting to see what happens when they go on sale
Chix
yuo can be certain that had it been at ewood park blackburn would have reduced ticket prices - i pray that we do likewise ourselves, we would be foolish not too
