i know i would say this being 'the landlord' and all that but this really is the best pompey fans site i have even been on - it is now the only one i look at... there is so much to see here so join us if you have not before, or some back if you are an existing member... you know you want too!

looking at the growth of some of the other vital football sites out there this one really looks like it has the potential to be one of the best! we are getting new members signing up all the time, so once the vast majority decide to start getting involved regularly the world will be ouir lobster...

how many members are you aiming for? 20 000, 2 000, 200? or every single person who has ever concidered posibly thinking about perhaps suggesting to a friends, in a halfheateted manner that he may wish to become a possible supporter?

...we need to know these things ;-) ...oh, and it seems that our african fan base is coming along nicely too, with FIFA publishing an article about how there is "another name on the lips of african supporters" (us). Surely this can only be good, and it seems the introduction of a few more african playoers has helped build our support - and support leads to revenue, revenue leads to better playors, better playors leads to support...its only going to get bettter...i hope.

I never get bored saying it but having looked around all the other fan sites Vital Pompey is head ad shoulders above the rest - I've only been 'active' for a couple of months but I've been wecome with open arms and although I some times don't always agree with the opinions posted my view is always considered and debated by a growing numbers of members - If you are reading this as an on-looker just sign up and get involved - Theres something here for every Pompey fan

Oh.. and we have a 'Landord' who keeps things in order so theres no futile or childish slanging matches. We've also got a Crackin' match reporter in Paultsmouth and a legend of a reporter in eastneydave who will probablt know what colour underant DarrenAnderton wore in when he scored in the FA Cup semifinal .. agree with all you say Chix - with thanks too - except the match reporter part - its true this is a cracking match reporter :) - but the actual match reports are by me, you sold me short. occassionally paultsmouth will step in to write a report tho and when he does they are cracking too... either way tho this is a fine site to be a part of and is growing all the time, long may it continue!

in answer to you carpet man i just want as many members as we can muster and in time we will have 2000, 20000 etc - we currently have 600+ but not all are active clearly, but after watching how things go for a while i am sure they will eventually have their say...
