Pompey's no.1 site found by accident

I found 'the no.1 Pompey fans site' - pompey4me's words - Vital Pompey by stumbling across it by accident! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompey4me's poll are thoughts that I do not share, as I was made aware of it by my brother.

I am glad that so many people managed to stumble across Vital Pompey; I hope that those of you that did find it by mistake are glad that you did, as I hope everyone else is glad of it too.

To be honest if it was not for my brother I might not have even been a part of this site now!

He had been keeping on at me for weeks some 18 months ago about this new website called Vital Pompey. With my business commitments I was quite reluctant to get that involved, but his nagging paid off in the end and I registered - and soon got hooked, as you do.

Then some positions came up on the site so I applied for the match day reporter, got that and then just ambled along until some 3 months ago or so when the site editor position came up and was offered to me so I took it.

If you found this site by accident, through a search engine, via an other means - which would be interesting to know what this other was - or whatever I am glad that you have, as I hope you are glad too.

Hopefully you are spreading the word so we can continue the phenomenal growth this site has made in the last 3 months, which it honestly has been exceptional.

What the poll asked - Where did you hear about Vital Pompey, the no.1 Pompey fans site?

How you voted - Stumbled on it by accident 40%, Search engine 36%, Other 20%, Friend 2%, Fellow supporter at the ground 1%, Drunken conversation at the pub 1%

Current Poll - Harry Redknapp was the only man that could have saved us from the drop in 2005/06, so it was little wonder that former Pompey captain Dejan Stefanovic led the charge for Milan Mandaric to get him back.

Since saving us Redknapp has helped move us giant strides forward, but is he still as important, more so, or is he no longer the main man, this is what muffdaddy1983 wants to know with this - 'how important is Harry Redknapp to Pompey?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

as i have said before paultsmouth and myself - along with suggestions more and more of you are making - provide the articles, but it is the members that make the site what it is! so long as we keep getting involved the sky is limit with this site... i hope people keep coming across the site by accident and however else they might, long may this continue.
