'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The standard has been set fellas!

Vital Pompey - much like Pompey did against Chelsea a week or so ago with their showing at Stamford Bridge, although this was not exactly replicated at Arsenal! - set the standards last week to which it should be looking to maintain day in day out, week in week out and month in month out.

Thursday and Friday were phenomenal for this site, with the number of different members getting involved and commenting amazing - something never before seen on this site, which I have been a part of for some 12-18 months as a mere member, then a match day reporter to my most recent role as site editor.

This sites continued growth is down to you fellas - mine and paultsmouth's standards have been set, you can rely on us to provide you with articles to read and comment on, but it is down to you to make sure you get involved.

Friday;s deadline day in particular showed just how active this site can be if people want it to be, so although not everyday is deadline day the standard and the amount of people getting involved, with them actively getting involved, has been set so this must be maintained.

Vital Pompey has come on leaps and bounds in the 3 months that I have been the 'landlord' - as Chix puts it - but it is as much to do with you fellas that it has grown into what it has, with it having the potential to be right up with the most successful ones like Vital Villa and Vital Spurs and so on. It is still at an early stage and it should grow yet further, this is my aim anyway.

More and more of you are getting involved, sharing you thoughts with comments on articles and/or in the forum, with more and more also putting forward your ideas and thoughts with polls and articles - so keep these coming too.

We all love Pompey, so we must make sure that we maintain the high standards that we have set recently. We all enjoy being on this site or we would not return as we do, so the more we return and the more we make our presence known the more others will join us.

Thanks for all your efforts so far fellas, much like Pompey on and off the pitch, Vital Pompey wants to continue the massive strides forward it has made.

Look at scums site at look at who is the biggest in Hampshire!
Size is everything!
so where are we in thr "vital table" of"vital football sites"? are we in the premiership yet?
Well done Vital Pompey, keep up the good work!
Well done Vital Pompey, your posters always seem fair and well balanced, unlike some of the Spurs lot. LOL.
I often pop over and have a read on here, good stuff. Very balanced and honest view of the Arsenal game too.
A time to step back and think yes we are doing well and then work on how to make things even better. Well done all.
'IT'S VITAL' (30 a mention to use my slogan btw).
Happy to be here. Always read Vital Pompey but recently the articles have been good and crying out for my attention.
Dont mean to sound negative towards Les who used to run this site, but it has drastically inproved since he left. No more 1 sided views, and everyones views are appreciated whether they are agreed with or not. Very well balanced, and very honest.
Have been reading the site for about year, year and a half now, it is only recently that I have felt motivated to offer my thoughts, that is all down to you fella's. Well done!!!
L L Blue
terrific job. Well done.
Ruggers, it has to be said how much the site has improved lately (as i said in my e-mail to you) and that has to be down to the new management. Brown nose pompey4me!!lol
A nod must go to PompeyGray has been contributing almost since the start, likewise Nelson
As a matter of interest, when did it start paultsmouth??
Well done to everybody, after searching for ages to find a responsible Pompey site here it is. Keep up the good work everybody Play up Pompey
I found the site in Feb 06, I believe TheFear of the villa site started it all in the October of 05, if you look at the Villa site they regularly have upto 50-60 people logged on in the evenings!
Wait, where's Les anyway?
Les last logged on in May! I do wonder if hes still around under a different username
Well done all - I echo what owenspompey says, I too searched high and low for a site that contains sensible, topical debate and up to the minute (well couple of hours) news. 'Mr Landord' especially take some credit, its due, but as you say its up to us all to keep contributing ... PUP
Rug, not being one to rest on our laurels (or hardy's, come to that) have sent you an email re future content and articles I can do ... but just had a thought has anybody ever done an article about suggestions for content ... I poised with pen in hand and willing to give people what they want ....... If I knew was it was they wanted might help ... any thoughts fellas - what else do you want to see ?
Kylie minogue in a pompey kit!!!!!!xxxxxx
Now if I could manage that .. do you really think I'd share her... Knowing my luck she'd turn up at my house at ten to three on a Saturday afternoon ......when Pompey were playing at home !!
.... No harm missing one game a season is there ?
i'd like to see kylie out of a pompey kit, and lucy pinder in one, just to shut the other lot up
If Kylie turned up at ten to three surely you could still make the kick off you stud? I could probably have a burger as well!! Lucy Pinder probably goes to as much football as Michelle Marsh does, now her and Sarah Harding in Pompey kits. I dont care which kits either
Chix, I hope you have learnt your lesson now! Asking us for idea's! We just can't be trusted... I'd prefer Danni, kit on or off!
L L Blue
LL is that Danni Gabbidon or Blanchflower?
Come on chix, i'd love you forever!!!lol
......Sorry fellas, couldnt respond earlier as there was a unexpected knock at the door and Ive spent the last 36 hours entertaining a certain blonde chick from Australia....LLBlue, I mentioned Danni to her for you, and she said she could easily set you up and of course it wouldnt be a Gabbidon or a Blanchflower....mentioned Danni Baker !, you interested ? Pompey4me, she agreed to it mate, said she'd be round about 5 on Saturday.... Nothing Else doing have ya ?
Chix get back on topic...with such i high standar benig srt by us, Rugs interntets gone and broken itself (or whatever), and he has run away...things were going so well!
daddies home - hopefully problems are behind us now, honestly i had not run off with kyle for 24-48 hours, lucy pinder - both - or anyone else, but i am back...
Pinder is MINE rug
No chance Sarah Harding and Pinder belong to me
keep em fellas, there is only one for me and that is buffy the vampire slayer - sarah michelle geller!
chix, i'm putting the shrimps on the barbie for me sheila called Kylie, thanks for fixing me up with that one!!LOL
Careful fellas.. Carpet, might pull us back to topic :) ..... Which is just a well as I was getting myself all worked up - see what happens when 'the Landlords' away for a day .... We just can not be trusted
....... I have absolutely no idea what this thread was orignally about !
it was not about what it went off to i know that much, but im proud anyway :)
...too get back on topic (had to do it chix)...the article was about how active we all were, and amazing we are...lest we forget...haha, i just had to say it...
