Vital Pompey - much like Pompey did against Chelsea a week or so ago with their showing at Stamford Bridge, although this was not exactly replicated at Arsenal! - set the standards last week to which it should be looking to maintain day in day out, week in week out and month in month out.
Thursday and Friday were phenomenal for this site, with the number of different members getting involved and commenting amazing - something never before seen on this site, which I have been a part of for some 12-18 months as a mere member, then a match day reporter to my most recent role as site editor.
This sites continued growth is down to you fellas - mine and paultsmouth's standards have been set, you can rely on us to provide you with articles to read and comment on, but it is down to you to make sure you get involved.
Friday;s deadline day in particular showed just how active this site can be if people want it to be, so although not everyday is deadline day the standard and the amount of people getting involved, with them actively getting involved, has been set so this must be maintained.
Vital Pompey has come on leaps and bounds in the 3 months that I have been the 'landlord' - as Chix puts it - but it is as much to do with you fellas that it has grown into what it has, with it having the potential to be right up with the most successful ones like Vital Villa and Vital Spurs and so on. It is still at an early stage and it should grow yet further, this is my aim anyway.
More and more of you are getting involved, sharing you thoughts with comments on articles and/or in the forum, with more and more also putting forward your ideas and thoughts with polls and articles - so keep these coming too.
We all love Pompey, so we must make sure that we maintain the high standards that we have set recently. We all enjoy being on this site or we would not return as we do, so the more we return and the more we make our presence known the more others will join us.
Thanks for all your efforts so far fellas, much like Pompey on and off the pitch, Vital Pompey wants to continue the massive strides forward it has made.
PLAY UP POMPEY!
