I really like them 'ere polls

I really like the polls that are run on Vital Pompey! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from Et_tu_Pompeii's poll are thoughts that I share.

The polls do not really mean anything, they cannot change anything but it is still interesting nevertheless to find out peoples opinions are on a given subject.

Probably the thing that I most like about them is the fact that they give the members of this site the opportunity to get involved, not just by voting but by putting forward your suggestions/ideas, which more and more of you are doing.

What the poll asked - How do you feel about site Poll's?

How you voted - Really like them 52%, They're something to while away the time 17%, There's only one worth doing and that's Graham 13%, They're a stupid waste of everyone's time 10%, Can't get enough of them 8%

Current Poll - The transfer window has now closed for another 4 months, Pompey have seen some fantastic footballers arrive, with some players, probably 1 in particular leaving that maybe we would not have wanted. However on the whole we have seen some fantastic talent arrive that outweighs that to leave.

One of the most, possibly the most disappointing thing about Friday was that we did not get that 'star striker' that had basically been promised. Maybe it is a good thing, as others get their chance, but it was expected was it not, but who was it we wanted, that is what Chix wants to know with this - 'we didn't get him, but which of the strikers rumoured or linked is/was the one most wanted?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

Personally, i really hate poll. i hate the way he denied us that goal, and he proved consistently how he was a shocking referee (3 yellows)...oh, wrong poll...they are a fun laugh, but never give you the results you expect...

Unscientific understanding of what we may think & may get & want.

these polls are often a 'break from reality' arent they - that said i generally try to vote in a way that i think is the most honest and most realistic way, in as much of a relistic way as they can be viewed anyway... like i say tho, the best thing for me is it gets people involved, they interract with the site and then many also put forward their own poll ideas too.

So the 10% of people that thought they were a wast of time still bothered to vote in the poll . . . . . . they fell into my trap - Ha!

I think they're fun. Maybe we should do one on whether it was worth giving away GON for Diop & Johnson....on second thoughts, maybe not !
