Primus target Liverpool for return

Primus target Liverpool for return

Linvoy Primus has targeted the match with Liverpool at Fratton on September 15th as the date for his Pompey comeback.

He has not played since the end of last season because of a knee injury, which required surgery during in the summer, but he has now been back in training for a couple of weeks and is getting closer to full match fitness.

Tonight's league cup much would have been ideally suited to help him along the road to recovery, but that level of football has come too soon, but he is scheduled to feature in reserve games with Chelsea tomorrow, then Arsenal next Monday - both of which should be good testers for him.

Pompey travel to Arsenal this Sunday, but there is then an international break which should help Primus even more, giving him a little more time to train and get fully up to speed before coming back into 1st team contention.

Primus is always a player I want to have available so the sooner he can come back the better. All being well he can come through these reserve games with no negative reactions to then fight for his place, then once he has it back, as usual hold onto it.

Linvoy back in contention - Now that'll be a bonus - When all are fully fit it's quite something our backline - whoever you put in it. Look over your shoulder Sylv, Linvoy cares nothing about reputations

hotest of the hot is what i told a mate - he had told me how great the film was so i checked it out - loved transformers as a kid anyway - and he was right, so i told him so, aswell as telling him how smoking hot the leading lady was... back to the matter in hand tho, great point Chix linvoy doesnt care one drop about reputations, i just hope 'arry is fair on him and treats him with the respect he deserves. optimus is too good to warm the bench all season, but who do you leave out... but if he comes in and plays well enough he deserves to stay in!

Itll be tough on any of our 'top 3' centre halves to be left out - but I can see it has to happen at some point as its not normally a role tha you can rotate that well - One thing I really hope for though is that HR doesn't suddenly realise he has three decent centre haves and try to accomodate them all in some weird 3-5-2 formation - We are a 4-4-2 side and should remain that way

he could always play optimus or distin as fullbacks, but they are both far better as central defenders arent they...

Just spoke to him tonight at the reserve game, he said he is getting there. He spoke to my kids, and made thier night, HR also stopped to speak to them, and took an interest in thier own football playing. How many premier league managers can you imagine doing that?? Not many i bet. Long live Linvoy and HR in the Blue of POMPEY.
