'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Harry pleased with team (AUDIO)

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp says he's happy his side managed to put in a decent performance at Stamford Bridge, despite going down 1-0 to Chelsea, with a solitary Frank Lampard strike being the difference.

In his post-match press conference Redknapp adds he was delighted with the performance of Sulley Muntari whilst dismissing the possibility of David Nugent leaving the club, despite Derby County's interest.

He's every reason to be pleased - you could have won!

Cheers Merlin, we played well, far better than we have done at Chelsea for a long while.

Btw, I voted for Utaka as your top scorer. Looked promising to say the least

Interesting to see 12% of us think we hav'nt signed the top scorer yet, who do you think it will be?

I think all the time Anelka and Defoe are out there and 'supposedly' unsettled and noises are being made in the press some will believe that one of them will come to Pompey - Voted for Nugent personally 'cause when he gets one, he'll get more' Wouldn't mind Defoe though !

merlin, agreed mate 'arry should be rightly pleased... i also voted nugent, as much like you Chix i also agree that the goals will flow when they start.

I am convinced that Nugent will be a great signing for the club, and when he gets one he'll get more (cue song). But i am convinced that Defoe will end up here at Pompey as he is far too good to be on the bench at Spurs.

i was camping in the new forest with my son and he was listening so missed the game, but listening to the radio and reading the reports it seems most accept that a draw would have been a fair result.
russellm
had we won mate it would not have been unfair - we certainly deserved at least a point, we should draw great heart from that match.
pompeyrug
We played well Russell, and we deserved something from the game. We played with a great deal of confidence, and compared to the past Premiership performances at the Bridge we gave it a real good go. Hope the camping went well, rather you than me though mate, all that back to nature stuff mate is for the young and the adventurous
