Pompey will lose to Chelsea as usual
Yep, Chelsea will beat Pompey as usual! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from the poll are thoughts that I probably should share, but I do not.
With a Premiership record of played 8 lost 8 against Chelsea and only the 1 goal scored in this time, with that coming from Benjani last season it is understandable that most will be expecting the usual outcome - particularly as the match is at Stamford Bridge.
Clearly I would settle for a point, but I have this feeling, some would probably call it blind optimism, that we will not only pick up our first ever Premiership point against Chelsea, but we will also end their unbeaten home run, so it will actually be points and not point as we will win 2-1!
Well, either way we are only a few hours from finding out.

As said, we hope that we will see out forwards firing on all cylinders this season, so far it has started well as before the Chelsea match Benjani and John Utaka had both scored two and Kanu one, but who will score the most, this is what pompey4me wants to know - 'who do you think will finish as this seasons top scorer?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

No doubt we will give it a right go but at times you have to expect you will come up against sides who have a bit more than you do.

agreed mate - tbh chelsea should beat us but ive just had this feeling all week we may well surprise them :) i will prob be wrong tho...

hope you're right Rug, i voted for a Chelsea win but i'm bloody awful when it comes to predicting results so hopefully i'm wrong. One things for sure that we do have enough to sneak something if things go our way.

Got a feeling you'll grab a draw against us. You're scoring a lot of goals and we have several first choice defenders out. I think you'll score and if you do, who knows. Harry is pretty good at producing a shock or two aswell.

like i said somewhere else mate i had a really strong feeling we would do united, liverpool and arsenal at the end of last season - and we were an interfering poll away from completeing the treble... i know we are away today, but ive had that same feeling this week :) either way i do reckon it will be a great game.

And thats what happened!!!! still, a pretty good turnout though..think we kinda deserved a draw!!

If you ask me, a draw would have been pretty fair today...as long as we continue our unbeaten at home spree. :)
