'Pompey predictions league'

On the whole we did not really do that well with our predictions in the Pompey Predictions League did we fellas!

However after predicting a 1-1 draw with Benjani scoring this was enough to see pentonpompey pick up 4 points to take an early lead - 2 points for the correct match result, a draw and 2 points for Benjani as a goalscorer. A whole host of us then follow on 2 points, mostly due to out predictions of a Benjani goal also, blueexile got theirs through a draw prediction.

If you missed out on predicting for the Derby match, it is still not too late to get involved - and judging by things you do not have too much to make up - just start with your predictions for the upcoming game with United at Fratton on Wednesday. So if you have not already made your predictions on this match with United do it here.

it is going to be alot harder to accumilate pts in this than people might think i reckon? if someone can get the exact outcome, result and goalscorers they will be in for a bumper pts tally - which tbh i think could see someone who enters the game even a few months later go right to the head of the table!

i would yhink you ar eright, although the chlsea game will be a guarenteed 4pts for everone - we loose 2-0 my thinking that is that we will win more games than anything else, so i will always predict a win, and i gota be ight sometimes ;-)

I'm not sure our problem with finding a 'regular' no.1 last season was behind our failure to gain promotion from league two was it? Clearly it didn't help mind.

Pompey's attacking intent

Something Pompey (attacking intent) will look to show next season to get out of league two once and for all. Smith came in from Swindon last week but Cookie wants another striker.
