'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pompey predictions league

With Vital Football running their own fantasy football this season, as revealed on Friday, with more on this soon - this will replace the fantasy football this site ran under previous editors last year.

However a new idea to Vital Pompey this season is going to be a very simple, but highly effective and I am hoping contagious Pompey Prediction League that will be run.

It will be very simple to take part in and will only take a few seconds of your time every time Pompey plays.

This Pompey prediction league is free to enter and prizes will be on offer so do get involved, as after all this site thrives on interaction, so we can have a bit of fun and see some friendly competition along the way.

Give it the once over fellas; what have you go to lose? For more details follow this Pompey Predication League link.

i think that is 3 people - including me - now, which is a start... this is as basic an idea as they come, but providing people are brave enough to put forward their thoughts with their match predication it should make for a very interesting one!

thanks fellas... the threads for the next game will go on the same day as one match ends - the following morning at the latest - so this should give plenty of time for pedictions to be made? if you miss a game or 2 or dont enter until later on you could still win a prize, or indeed the competition full stop, as the monthly winners will go into a pot and 1 drawn out randomly to give everyone a chance at winning something, no matter how late they join... whatever happens this should be fun...

no matter how bad a day it has been i can always rely on pompeygray to bring a smile to my face with his comments... i just want to make it clear again, this is not being run through any prediction league formats there are out and about on the net - it is being run myself, i will keep a track of the points and have my own database keeping tabs on things - hence the simpleness of it, well at least i hope it is!

Now and again we gotta call a defeat a defeat....for the sake of doing well in the predictions....take Chelsea away for example..!

well its kinda early to mid isnt it?! and yes dazza im wasted on here .... saying that ive made 120 profit on bets since mid may and my stakes are norm not more than a fiver a go so im impressed with that. i dont like predicting score lines etc, just 1X2, AH and O/U mainly with the occasional HT/FT. derbys got to be 3 points to us tbh, we need to start as well as we did last season to keep morale up, we can score at the moment and our TOWER of big ass black defence will be hard to get through let alone the 10 foot david james who basically blinks and the ball comes to him! derby will put up a fight but we will snatch it i reckon (more like i hope i havea bout 20 on this !! lol

i reckon if we dont beat derby, we will be in for a hard season. After derby, we have the top 4, so we need to be confidant about playing them - which we wont be unless we beat derby - and if we dont get a good start, it could all fall to peices. HOWEVER, we will beat derby, wont we 'arry? (touchwood). On the otherhand, we could loose to derby, and realise that if we dont pick up, we will be in a mess, and bounce back, and wollop man u...so really, anything could happen.
