Pompey fans will love Muntari

Harry Redknapp believes that Sulley Muntari will prove a massive hit in the Premiership, but not only with the Pompey faithful, who will of course love him - if they do not already?

As Redknapp pointed out with what he said on the Pompey site he is strong and aggressive, two of the traits needed to be successful in the Premiership.

He did give the ball away too cheaply quite a few times against Fulham, but in fairness to him he chased this down and more often than not won it back. Some of his misplaced passes were more down to sloppiness than anything else, but like everyone else he is still working himself back to the top of his game.

What impresses me most of all is his work rate, effort and commitment. Many just give up if they make a mistake but he tries to rectify it, even if it means chasing a ball 25 yards as he did.

Another thing is the fact that he looks for the ball and the play; he does not wait for it to come to him, he also broke up the play tremendously well today.

His partnership with Pedro Mendes looks to be already blooming. This partnership is something that could be the heartbeat of how successful our season might be?

PLAY UP POMPEY!

i thought him good, and definetly no worse than matty blazing away when perhapse he could have laid on for Nugent, LuaLua seemed improved and to my complete amazement made several acurate passes. we will need to play better to take this trophy, as much as i think the whole thing irelevant, i say if your in it, go win it.
