Harper opts for Hamilton Academical

Harper opts for Hamilton Academical

Ryan Harper, who came on as a trialist for Pompey against Eastleigh earlier this week has been snapped up by Hamilton Academical.

I did not see the fella play, but from what the fellas on the radio said at the time he had the look of Arjen Robben, but that was about it. The News even harshly said 'he was awful'.

According to the Hamilton Academical site, the 20 year old striker had spent his career in Spain, with them claiming to have 'beaten off competition' from Pompey, Real Betis and Luton to sign him from Fuengirola.

So Pompey is outdone by the mighty Academical!

Despite not seeing him play the other night I am sure we will get over missing out on him - I bet he will be sold for millions in the years to come!

PLAY UP POMPEY!
