The fans are spread far and wide

For most, North of the M4 it is! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from pentonpompey's poll on where people are based in this instance do not apply to me.

There really was an even spread right across the board with the members of this site literally coming from all over the country - and the world. This is another case that proves why this site is potentially so great for so many people, as it brings us all together no matter where we are based.

No matter where we are we share the common interest, that interest of course is Pompey!

Just because we share this interest it is not to say we always agree - and why should we? This site is for opinions, for us to share them whatever they may be. It gives you your chance to say what you want, when you want - so keep this going fellas.

What the poll asked - Where do you Vital Pompey fans live?

How you voted - North of the M4 21%, Within 15 miles 19%, In Pompey 17%, Abroad 16%, South of the M4 14%, In Hampshire/Sussex 13%

Current Poll - Pre season is underway, the new signings - and quality ones at that - have arrived, with maybe more to come, so now are attentions are starting to turn more and more to the coming season.

Many of us are now very optimistic about what this season will bring, but we have a very tough beginning with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and United all faced in the opening 6 games. So Et_tu_Pompeii asks 'how many points will we have after the first 6 matches of the season?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

... but then that is like taking the mountain to meet Mohammed, which of course should really be the other way around. In other words, why don't the global fans come over the Pompey, we'd make them all very welcome and would be pleased to see them too?
