Competition winners revealed

As part of the re-launch of Vital Pompey I was giving two registered members of the site a chance to win prizes.

All you had to do to stand a chance of winning a prize was.

1) Be a vital Pompey member by the end of June - if you still have not joined up yet, DO SO NOW! Register here.

2) Leave a comment on this simple subject 'how great was our great escape at the end of the 2005/06 season!'

The prizes on offer were professionally put together and finished pieces of signed football memorabilia 12"x10" in size - a photograph on high-grade board with a signature - of your choice. These items come courtesy of www.rugssoccersignatures.com - which is my 'day job', with me being in the football memorabilia field for many years.

The winners have been drawn at random and both contacted - with one responding, but I am still awaiting a reply from the other.

So were you a winner? Find out here competition winners revealed.

Match highlights - Pompey 0-1 Orient

Disappointing as it was, you take the rough with the smooth and cannot gloss over things when they aren't so good so here goes with the 1-0 defeat Pompey suffered against Orient.

Simply not good enough!

Call me a moaner, call me a groaner but if you think the performance against Orient was good enough then I think you're wearing blue tinted specs as that was poor from Pompey.
