As long as we get at least one of them. Don't like the idea of swapping GON 4 the Yak!

GON hasn't been that great for us this season, we're pretty sorted in midfield and with muntari coming in we could afford to let some one go (or 2) bring back the Yak, let Kanu go, get in Defoe, let LL go. Would be quite happy to see Matty Taylor go as well - he's good for the odd lucky goal but defensivley rubbish. Not meaning to put the cat amongst the pigeons but there you go.

he may not have been great for us but he still was not that bad - o'neil has to stay, but for that matter so does matty taylor, but if i had to choose one to go - if i really had to it would be matty taylor, but i still feel matty taylor isn't as poor defensively as people think, he is not great but not poor...

viduka will go where he gets the most money wont he... when i first heard of our interest i was well chuffed and whilst i would still quite like the fella here he seems to be taking his time weighing up his options... defoe is the man for me if we table a 10m bid for him we could be in business...

As a spurs fan i'd say don't waste your money on Defoe, you won't get alot of player for 10m considering how well Harry normally spends his money. As with every other English player alive it's all hype

Instead of saying why we shouldn't get one of yur players, Phartman87, just prove why the rumour is incorrect. It'll be easy, I'm rather unconvinced if you want a headstart.

wouldn't like to see GON go anywhere, if we're going to get rid of any midfielders then i'd rather we started with Davies, Hughes next although i must admit he finished the season well and surprised me a bit with the quality of his performances. Taylor must Stay and i'd like to see more of Mvuemba. Mendes is without a doubt irreplaceable. Have to agree midfield looks to be pretty strong now, Defence has been strengthened too just need to add some more strength up front. Only real problem i see is how the hell do we pick a team of just 11.

the defoe rumour will come true or go away all too soon wont it... if we increase it to a started 15 Steve C we will be fine wont we... hughes knows he wont be assured of a starting place next season but he will still play a part so i very much hope he stays - he was fantastic from the reading game on at the end of the season, but he still should have scored against arsenal tho! mvuemba impressed me too so i hope we can arrange a deal?

Heard HR on radio saying what a great player defoe is but there was no chance of getting him, mind you can't always believe what HR says.

Lysimachus as i posted the majority of spurs fans think defoe is lazy, I think Phartman is just advising what most of them think, its a fairly regular posting on their sites. I also think for 10Mill Defoe is not that great, 6-7 mill then thats a different matter and he wont have to dissappear to the African nations Cup. I think GO'N and Matty Taylor should stay and agree with SteveC. I would say steveC the way we pick a team of 11 for the coming season at least is on the training ground because its like a swamp most of the year and thats where most of our " more experinced" players get their knocks & injuries.

Not just the more experienced players, i've lost count of the number of players that have been injured there. Where would Toddy be now if he hadn't injured himself in training 2 days before our first premiership training? The sooner the Titchfield training ground is sorted out the better.

To be fair steve c, The ground toddy injured himself on was not the current site, but Collingwood, this was the same place as Mark Burchill done his knee and the catalyst for Pompey to move to Eastleigh

i stand corrected however there are a number of players who have injured themselves in training at Eastleigh, whilst preferable to Collingwood it's still not good enough.
