Harry: Kanu is the Only One
Harry Redknapp admits he is disappointed by the lack of goals his Portsmouth players have been scoring. With the exception of Kanu, he thinks they have more goals in them.
'Lualua can always cause defences problems with a bit of magic. But he's got only two goals this season, and that's not enough for a Premiership striker.
'It's lucky we bought Kanu, who has weighed in with a dozen goals. Goals have got to come from everywhere. It's not just the strikers - you expect the midfield players to weigh in with goals, too.
'Apart from Kanu, I don't think anyone has scored as many goals as we would have hoped. That's not a criticism, though, because we've done fantastically well this season. We've constantly punched above our weight.'

I'll agree that Cole and LuaLua should have scored more but don't agree that Davis, O'Neil and Mendes should have. Maybe a few more between them... Benjani should have scored more also despite the other areas he brings to the side...

I agree that Lua should have a couple more, but he has been injured alot of this season. Totally agree with Cole & Benji though!

Harry has totally lost the plot!!!! Kanu is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, he blew his lot at the start of the season and is good for nothing now. How on earth Harry can keep relying on this crock of ***** is beyond me!!!

I think our strikers are covered in cobwebs. This aging bunch are past their use by date. I guess we open the cheque book again in the Summer or start practising parachute jumping.....

I think VitalPompeyAdmin, pompeyrug and CharlieChimes probably could have scored more goals between us... I think you are being a little too harsh on Kanu TruePompeyBlue, he's not having a good time of it but who is... Even so out of the currently lot Benjani and LuaLua are the only one that really have to be kept for me, I'd not mind Kanu staying but Cole can go and Toddy will...

TPB's language may be colourfull but i agree to a point and that is Kanu is lazy, ungratefull and wants out so if he insists let him go. I'd be more intrested in solving his housing problem if he stopped whingeing about the goals he got last year and started scoring some this year.

Kanu is lazy, always has been and always will be. We knew this when he arrived... To be honest I don't know what it and what isn't true with what Kanu is or isn't saying as soon much is coming out all the time...
