To be played

Sunday 19th March 2017 - LEAGUE TWO
Notts County v Barnet 15:00

Cheltenham - without boss Gary Johnson following heart surgery - were beaten for a third straight game with Cambridge's goal on just two minutes securing the points. Despite defeat the Robins remain seven points clear of trouble whereas the U's second win in three keeps them in play-off contention.

A goal in each half saw Crewe to a 2-0 victory - a third in four to move well clear of trouble - over play-off chasing Colchester at Gresty Road. The U's have only won once in five but are just four points off the top seven.

Grimsby dropped further off the play-off places after the Mariners - who also finished with 10 men - were held to a 1-1 draw by a Crawley side that are now six without a win.

A second Hartlepool defeat in three was suffered when Wycombe left Victoria Park with a 2-0 win. The Chairboys finished with 10 men but a fifth game without defeat took them to within three points of the play-offs.

Leyton Orient slipped to a 16th home defeat of the season - ahead of Monday's proposed High Court meeting to face a winding up petition brought by HMRC - when leaders Doncaster recorded a 4-1 win to keep them six points clear. Orient remain bottom and seven points from safety.

Promotion rivals Luton and Exeter shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road. The Grecians had been a goal up but the Hatters hit back that saw both retain top seven positions.

Mansfield's first win in five brought them back into contention. The Stags' 2-0 victory over Carlisle - who are six without a win, having lost five - means the Cumbrians are at risk of slipping out of the top seven after being on for automatic promotion for much of the season.

The Newport winning run was ended when Blackpool recorded a 3-1 victory to move onto the cusp of a place in the play-offs. The Exiles remain second bottom and seven points from Football League survival whereas Pools are now just a point and a place off the top seven with the unbeaten run extended to eight.

Plymouth extended their unbeaten run to three with a 1-0 win over a Morecambe side that have now lost four in a row. The Pilgrims remain six points off leaders Doncaster but are now seven points clear of automatic promotion rivals Portsmouth.

Having seen a long unbeaten run ended the reaction was positive from Stevenage with a 3-0 win over promotion rivals Portsmouth keeping them in automatic contention. With third placed Pompey's three game winning run ended it saw Boro close to within four points.

Yeovil hit back against a 10 man Accrington side to claim a 1-1 draw at Huish Park. Stanley's point in Somerset extended their impressive run to eight without defeat.

Smith staying at Northampton

Personally I wouldn't have thought Cook would have brought Smith back but even if the Pompey manager wanted this he couldn't under the terms of his Northampton loan.
