Storey time - striker signing confirmed

Some areas were yesterday saying that Pompey had completed the protracted transfer of Miles Storey, although nothing was officially confirmed.

That was until this morning we the Pompey Site announced his arrival.

Storey has finally come in, as anticipated, on a season long loan from Swindon with Andy Awford happy with his latest recruit.

AA had watched him last season, with him linked at the time, and now that he has signed he will 'add another dimension' to our attack: 'Miles has been a target for us since the end of last season and I'm delighted that he's joined us.

'I watched him play on a few occasions last season and believe that he'll add an extra dimension to our attacking options.

'We're very grateful to Swindon for letting him come to Fratton Park for the season.'

His arrival must cast doubts against the Fratton futures of at least one striker you would think, and some already had question marks against their names anyway...

What do we make of this signing then guys?

i think this might spell the end for Con id like to see Pat stay even as a bit part player - i think this physicality could come in handy for the last 10-20 mins of matches if needed PUP!

Connolly and Big Pat could both be good impact players as they would both offer something from the bench, and something different - do think that one, or both, will leave tho tbh... would think Connolly more likely?
