Pompey predictions league update #45

Pompey predictions league update #45

The Pompey predictions league continued at the weekend with Pompey at Bury.

He could not make it 6/6, although Andy Awford kept up his unbeaten run with an incredible 4-4 draw.

Three-nil down, with 40-minutes to play, back to three-two but then four-two down with 2-minutes to go we showed that new found spirit and fight we have to come away with a remarkable four-four draw.

Few expected a draw; quite clearly no one expected a four-all if they did!

This meant little change in all honesty.

5pts from uspompeyfan kept top for a 9th game running on 185pts in total, meaning that unless a perfect score is scored by his rival and he gets nothing the crown is his.

Nothing from toffee74 means they stay 2nd on 165pts.

Again nothing from blueexile but they retain 3rd with their 150pts overall.

NOTE TO LEADERS: Should uspompeyfan and toffe74 wish to do their predictions 'in secret' for plymouth please feel free to private message me the predictions.

This is how the table, of over 30, currently stands:

Bury, and its outcome, also meant that the predictor for April would be known and a mammoth haul of 65pts blueexile won this.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
